Vacation Makeover: Destination Mount Rushmore
Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules. The “Vacation Makeover: Destination Mount Rushmore” ("Contest") begins on April 7, 2010, and ends on October 17, 2010 ("Contest Period"). Contest is hosted by the Black Hills Digital Strategy Group and the South Dakota Office of Tourism, 711 E. Wells Ave., Pierre, SD 57501 ("Host").

Eligibility: Contest is open to all natural persons age 18 and older who are legal residents of the United States and Canada * only where such contests are not prohibited by law for the duration of the Sweepstakes. Employees, officers and directors of Host, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Void where prohibited. All federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter:

Chance to win one of four exclusive Vacation Giveaways worth up to $4,000 - Vacation Title, description and at least one photo or video is required for every submission. Four winners will be selected though online public voting on the www.blackhills.travel website between April 7, and June 7, 2010. In the event of a tie, contest organizers will select the four winners from among the top vote-getters. Winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email. Each finalist will be given a prize package that includes vouchers for travel booked through http://www.blackhillsvacations.com, and a Kodak Zx1 Pocket Video Camera . The winners must travel to the Black Hills between June 7, 2010, and August 16, 2010. Video of their Black Hills vacation must be captured on the Kodak Zx1 camera. The finished video must be submitted by September 15, 2010.

Chance to win one exclusive vacation giveaway worth up to $4,000 - All voters who participate between April 7, 2010, and June 7, 2010, will be eligible for one sweepstakes prize. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of participants. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail at the time of the selection. An award notification will also be mailed to the winner. Winner will have 14 days from notification to accept the prize by U.S. Mail. Winner must travel to the Black Hills between June 7, 2010, and August 16, 2010.

A prize release form must be completed and returned in full and must confirm that the potential prize winner meets all conditions set out in this contest.

Prize redemption for each of the giveaways must be made by calling South Dakota Central Reservations at 1-866-601-5103. Please refer to the “Vacation Makeover: Destination Mount Rushmore” ("Contest") when speaking with the agent.

Host is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or non-delivered entries or for any miscommunication or technical failures as a result of contest participation. Upon receipt, entries become property of Host.

Participants agree that the Host, its affiliates, directors, officers and agents are not liable for, and will be held harmless against, any and all claims to injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest or from acceptance or use of any prize.

Host is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner or for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts of winner to claim prize.

Winner and winner's traveling companion(s) will be required to sign and return waivers of liability, indemnification and medical release. A parent or guardian will be required to sign a waiver of liability, indemnification and medical release for each traveling companion below the age of majority. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed documents as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. HOST RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Other expenses and/or services not specified are the sole responsibility of the Winner. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is permitted. Prize is not transferable. All federal, state, provincial, and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Winner: The registration name of the winners of the Contest may be publicly announced, at the Host’s sole discretion, in any media but the Host has no obligation to do so. By entering this competition, entrants consent to have their name and the community they reside in published. Telephone numbers, and full addresses/email addresses will not be included. In addition, the stories, photos and videos submitted in the contest will be available for use by Hosts and contest sponsors, including Eastman Kodak Co. The Host and contest sponsors retain the total rights to contest submissions.

Any prize winner whose name is announced publicly as a winner of the Contest must qualify for the Contest in order to accept the prize. Host is not obligated to select, or publicly announce, any alternative prize winner. By entering the Contest, all participants agree that their registration names may be announced publicly either after or prior to the Host’s notification to them that they are a prize winner and either after or prior to the Host’s determination of their qualification for, or their acceptance of the prize. The Host reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner if such potential winner is determined to have been unqualified. Finalist videos will be posted on the contest website on September 15, 2010.

Winners List and Official Rules: To obtain a copy of the winners list or a copy of these Official Rules, send your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: South Dakota Office of Tourism, 711 E. Wells Ave., Pierre, SD 57501. Requests must be received no later than August 29, 2010.
